Power Steering Gear Outlet Pipe/Hose Replacement (Gas With Hydroboost)

Removal Procedure

1. Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.





Notice: Refer to Power Steering Hose Disconnected Notice .

2. Disconnect the power steering fluid cooler hose clamp and hose (3) from the steering gear (2).
3. Remove the power steering gear outlet pipe (1) from the steering gear (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the power steering gear outlet pipe (1) to the steering gear (2).
2. Connect the power steering fluid cooler hose (3) and hose clamp to the steering gear (2).
3. Clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
4. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding (Service and Repair)
